Appalogue/Refunds
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Plain language. bimi starts with a 30-day free trial, so you can decide before you pay — and you can cancel anytime.
1. Your 30-day free trial
bimi is free to download and comes with a 30-day free trial — the full app, no charge. You are not billed during the trial. If bimi isn't for you, simply don't subscribe (or cancel before the trial ends) and you'll never be charged.
2. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel anytime. Cancelling stops all future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Mac App Store purchases: cancel in Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions on your Mac. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its standard policy — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Direct purchases (appalogue.com / Linux): manage or cancel from your account's billing portal, or email us (below). Billing for direct purchases is processed by our payment provider, Paddle, acting as the merchant of record.
3. Refunds on direct purchases
Because the 30-day free trial lets you evaluate bimi in full before paying, renewal charges are generally non-refundable for the period already started. That said, we want you treated fairly:
- Accidental or unwanted first charge: if you're charged and didn't mean to subscribe, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we'll refund it.
- Something went wrong: if bimi didn't work as described, tell us — we'll make it right, which may include a refund.
- Consumer-law rights: nothing here limits any statutory refund or cooling-off rights you have where you live; those always apply.
Refunds are issued to your original payment method by Paddle. Partial-period and prorated refunds are not typically offered — cancelling stops future billing.
4. How to request a refund or get help
Email Appalogue, LLC at admin@appalogue.com with the email address on your account and the approximate charge date. For App Store purchases, use Apple's Report a Problem page. We aim to respond within a couple of business days.
